A registered allocation of 20.5Ha (the equivalent of 143.5 million Litres of water per annum!) comes from the very popular and affordable Dwariga Irrigation Water Scheme, not to mention the winter and summer shared water from the Langeberg mountains. Water is stored in a large servitude dam (capacity roughly 98 million Litres) and another smaller dam (capacity roughly 4.5 million litres) and a well-maintained stand-by borehole with new submersible pump, provides good quality water when needed.
