The nearest supermarket is 4.5 km away in Tres Equis town. The other one is in the opposite direction, 18 km away in Turrialba city – there are also banks, a court, elementary and high schools, stores, veterinarians, and restaurants, including McDonald's.
It is about 70 km from the centre of the capital city, San José. Caribbean beach, Playa Bonita, is 98 km far away, which is about 1 - 1.5 hours drive by car.
